Morrow

Our story

Earth, fire,
and a lot of patience.

The Morrow ceramic studio interior with shelves of handmade pottery

Morrow is a ceramic studio in Houston, Texas — a place to slow down and learn the patience of clay.

We work in stoneware and terracotta, firing in small batches. We teach because we believe everyone should know the feeling of centering a lump of clay on a spinning wheel — the moment it stops fighting and starts cooperating.

Whether you're here for a one-time workshop, a beginner series, a private celebration, or a mug for your morning coffee — welcome. We're glad you're here.

What we believe

Three things we keep returning to.

01

Slow over fast

Clay teaches patience. We don't rush a piece to the kiln, and we don't rush a student past their first wobble.

02

Made by hand

Every mug, vase, and bowl on our shelves was formed by a person, not a press. Variation is the signature.

03

Room for everyone

Beginners belong here. Most of our students had never touched clay before their first class — that's the point.
